PRE-COLONIAL AFRICA BEFORE ITS INVASION BY THE WHITES - EGYPT - GREECE

Whites like to present Africa as a primitive continent in order to justify slavery, their contempt and their crimes against blacks. However, well before the colonial era, this continent was organized into empires: Empire of Ghana, Mali, Songhai, Zimbabwe, Congo etc.... headed by a king or emperor and endowed with religious organizations , military, judicial. These countries were very rich, they were prosperous and opulent kingdoms, agriculture  was diversified,    they maintained relations highly developed trade  with India, China and Asia; the standard of living and well-being was higher than that of Europe at the same time (source: Léo Frobénius: History of African civilization. ed gallimard). The city of Timbuktu in Mali had a prosperous religious and intellectual past in the 15th and 16th centuries: astronomy, music, botany, science, law, history and religion were taught in its schools and its university which had 25,000 students who came from different countries to study. Leon the African speaking of Africa said “On arriving in Africa, Europeans were struck to see highly organized and civilized human communities engaged in a prosperous trade. Villages, towns and palaces covered the continent. The large African cities before the colonial period were centers of knowledge and exchanges between Arab and African scholars. »

The arrival of the whites to seize its wealth and enslave its population has put Africa in decline and made it regress.

"Black is not aware of its true value and potential. because the education he received did not enhance his historical and cultural heritage. The result is therefore a complexed individual who has received a Western education that values white and puts black on an inferior level.

The slave trade led to a vast ideological current supporting the thesis of the superiority of the white race over all other races. This colonial ideology supported by politicians, ecclesiastics, philosophers, economists, historians aimed to justify the slave trade in the eyes of the European population. Actions were taken at that time to force blacks to admit their inferiority and sink into cultural alienation (abuse of all kinds, colonial religious education" with white falsified black icons: Jesus, Mary, all the saints with the aim to write off our history.) “These negative actions still influence many black and European consciousnesses considerably and are supported by influential figures who have recorded the following nonsense: David Hume:I suspect niggers.. to be naturally inferior to the white race,E. Kant German philosopher''nature has endowed the Negro with no feeling which does not rise above silliness''. »(36)'The writer Victor Hugo made the following racist false remarks about Africans and Africa, which he describes as a barbaric country.“This fierce Africa has only two aspects: populated, it is barbarism; deserted is savagery… In the nineteenth century, white made black a man ; in the twentieth century, Europe will make Africa a world.(Applause)Remaking a new Africa, making the old Africa manageable for civilization, that is the problem. Europe will solve it. Come on, Peoples! Take this land. Take the. Whose ? To no one. Take this land to God. God gives the earth to men, God offers Africa to Europe.......”

"Civilization existed in black Africa long before the European slave trade,

About the writingThe excavations carried out by the archaeologist Professor Dreyer have revealed that writing was born in Africa around 3400 BC. Victor Schoelcher declared in 1837: ''on the left bank of the Senegal River,we meet more Negroes knowing how to read and write Arabic than we would find in our countryside peasants knowing how to read and write ''

-Regarding agriculturethe Frenchman G Mollien noted in 1817 the hospitality, the seriousness, the rigor and the quality of rice farming: ''these people are industrious, agriculture has a great degree of advancement.....''

Historians and explorers like Leon the African, Dresch, da Mosto, etc. point out the extreme wealth of the continent with regard to its agricultural production and its domestic livestock. We are therefore legitimately entitled to be astonished by the famine and the scarcity of agricultural production and cattle herds which make the news in Africa today: These are the consequences of the colonial conquest and the looting of Africa by Europeans. The German ethnologist, Léo Frobénius quotes: ''villages with well-appointed streets…...... countryside covered with magnificent fields........a teeming crowd dressed in silk and velvet... ...great states well ordered down to the smallest detail, powerful rulers, opulent industries, people civilized to the marrow of their bones''. The Portuguese navigators of the 15th and 18th centuries tell of the full flowering and brilliance of harmonious and well-formed civilizations which the European conquistadores annihilated as they progressed inland. America needing slaves and in order to justify slavery, the Europeans invented the notion of the fetish and the barbaric Negro. Always according to Léo Frobénius “Velvets and silk fabrics everywhere.... each cup, each pipe, each spoon was an object of art ….. the bourgeois orders and the corporate systems are older by thousands of years. years than in Europe. I quote Léon l'African ''the inhabitants are rich and civilized..... The large pre-colonial African cities were centers of knowledge and exchange between Arab and African scholars. African universities were in the Middle Ages centers of intense cultural activity....cities like Oualata, Djenné and above all Timboutou already had their universities...real lineages of scholars were formed in these universities. .

There were great powerful empires: Zimbabwe, Songhai, Kayor, Swahili, Congo, Mali etc... headed by kings and emperors, with a legal and military organization. Gigantic constructions: Zimbabwe, pyramids of Meroe, Aksum, Egyptian civilization (pyramids of Gizeh, temples of karnak, Luxor, Abidos etc.....). The great pre-colonial empires in sub-Saharan Africa were guarded by a powerful chivalry whose clothes had nothing to envy to those of Europe” (37)

The first elements of mathematics, medicine, astronomy, navigation, architecture, writing ...... came from Egypt. Western Egyptologists know it well: the Egyptians were Negroes, not whites as the Europeans still want to believe. Their negritude has been attested by the observations of the following authors: in ancient times Herodotus insists on the Negro character of the Egyptians, Diodorus of Sicily also recognizes this negritude. Volney in 1783 wrote:''to think that this race of black men today our slave and the object of our contempt is the same one to which we owe our arts, our sciences and even the use of speech; to imagine finally, that it is in the midst of peoples who call themselves the most friends of freedom and humanity, that we have sanctioned the most barbaric of slaveries and questioned whether black men have an intelligence of the species of that of white men!(Count of Volney: Travels in Egypt and Syria 1783:), Rienzi in the 19th century recognizes this negritude and others. The birth of Egyptology will be characterized by the need to destroy at all costs and in all minds the memory of a Negro Egypt. One strives in vain to find Egyptian civilization a white origin by launching into subjective interpretations of facts and historical documents; one ends up getting mired in one's own contradictions in order to refute the theses of one's predecessors who proved Negroid characteristics of the Egyptians: Champollion-Figeac goes so far as to say, evoking black skin and frizzy hair "these two physical qualities are not enough to characterize the Negro race" It is at the cost of such reworkings of the basic definitions that we were able to whitewash the Egyptian race.

Our Stolen Legacy

Westerners greatly admire the Greek genius: "the Greek miracle" they say, in the persons of philosophers like:Democritus, Diogenes, Epictetus, Epicurus, Leuccipe, Plato, Pythagoras, Socrates, Aristotle, Thales, Eudoxus, Solon, Euclid, Jamblichus, the geographer Strabo, the doctor Hippocrates etc....but the black Egyptian priests who were the teachers in Egypt of these people deserve this admiration even more, because the Greeks moved from their country to come to Egypt to study in the temples of cities like Memphis, Thebes, Heliopolis where the priests gave them their knowledge. They often stayed there to study for 10 to 20 years and more. The theorems of Pythagoras and Thales existed several millennia before the birth of the saidPythagoras and Thales who did not invent them as the Europeans would have us believe; moreover, these theorems appear on the papyri (ex Rhind papyrus kept at the British Museum in London). The deciphering of hieroglyphs by JF Champollion confirmed the African origins of this philosophical and scientific knowledge.

In all fields: mathematics, philosophy, geometry, medicine etc.... the Greeks copied word for word (plagiarism) the ancient Egyptian texts from the papyri. “The Greek geographer Strabon says that the Greeks knew nothing of science and astronomy, until their contact with the Egyptians whom he describes as being black. According to JP Vernant ''the Greeks used observations, techniques, instruments that others developed''. Champollion: ''Egypt became a school where the legislators of Greece, the reformers of its cult, went to learn, and especially the Hellenes of Europe and Asia who hastened the development of Greek society by propagating the study of science, history and philosophy''. Greek scholars never denied that they owed the foundations of their civilization to the Negroes of Egypt, for at the time racism against blacks did not didn't exist. » (38)
